auto box warning light on
« on: 08 March 2015, 22:56:43 »

on my latest 2.2 omega, I disconnected the battery and didnt realize that the horn was still in operation on the alarm.....I forgot about the 15 second rule so off went the alarm.....after reconnecting the battery and went for a drive I noticed that the auto box warning light is now showing,,,,however the gear box is perfectly ok and working well.....so is this a coinsidence or something more -evil lurking in the background... :-\

Do you mean the amber light at the bottom of the Rev Counter dail that looks like a engine ?, if so then that is the EML light and indicates a possible problem with the exhaust emissions. There will be a code/s stored so a quick read with a codereader will give you a pointer to the cause :y
