It's a joke, it was overturned by some judges, but she's kept moaning, and now some other judge or whoever has said she'd got a right to the cash. Sick what partners are entitled to, having contributed nothing to the relationship. 

Can only assume that some of her traveller mates went round to the high court judge's house and threatened to tarmac his drive unless he cooperated

Fair comment. There's a kid involved, so one would hope that he didn't rise to having that many zeroes after his bank balance without at least making sure his child was looked after. We also don't know what the settlement was at his divorce, of course.

Reassessing maintenance payments in the light of newfound wealth is one thing. Retrospectively asking for another divorce settlement is another.

I can understand if he'd built his wealth while she was at home doing the dishes and looking after the kid, but, as far as I can see, she had no involvement whatsoever.
