Who would ever have seen Clegg and Co wielding the power they have 6 years ago!
I suspect Nicola Sturgeon would turn out to be worse than Clegg, as her first interest would be looking after Scotland to the detriment of the rest of the UK.
Same could be said about a 'English' PM from a Scottish/Welsh point of view.
At least they have their own devolved assemblies, where as SMP's can work in a coalition to set ours. If Labour / SNP form a government this will create a constitutional crisis. I never been involved in any demonstrations, but I would over this, where it is profoundly unreasonable for Scotland to set their own tax rates, NHS rules etc, but not for them to also then set ours!

Let not forget where Gordon McRuin took us economically, Millipede and Sturgeon between them would do a turbo version, to all of our detrements. It is like this non-dom situation, the majority are high networth individuals who pay a lot of taxes on their UK earnings, where they work in the city of London, but Labour class warrior's view of fairness is to reduce our tax-take from them, by them going and living abroad. So we either end up with less spent on public services or taxes have to go up for everybody else to replace them. One of the reasons France has been a basket case economically for the last 5 years with high and ever rising unemployment and a stagnant economy, has been their 75% tax rate. The high earning movers and shaker then go and live elsewhere, with London being a very popular destination. Getting on the wrong side of the income tax rate laffer curve is around 40%, which is why the current 45% tax rate raises more revenue than the 50% one did and the old 40% rate more than the current 45%!
Penal tax rates shoot everybody in the foot where they raise less tax than more moderate rates and you get a brain drain where well educated people with in demand skills go a live in other countries, especially the US, where they can have higher disposable incomes and better lifestyles.
