I suspect you would be a bit too dead to worry about such trivialities ::)

Properly maintained it shouldn't seize though, should it.. so that's a bit like saying "The engine is attached to the back wheels, what if it seizes", no?

Does rather presume that you made it to the end of the road in one piece :-\

The Ninja H2R is a closed course riding use only model and is not manufactured for use on public roads, streets or highways. All usage of this vehicle should be limited to riding on a closed course.... 'Useful'???

The exhaust sound level of the H2R at the time of factory shipment is 120 dB/A using Auto Cycle Union (ACU) guidelines. It is the owner’s responsibility to confirm that noise regulations of closed courses permit vehicles reaching this level of exhaust sound. Changes to the exhaust system may alter performance and sound level..... 'Plod would be pleased'.

In addition to regular periodic maintenance, service inspections are required every 15 hours of engine operation above 8,000r/min (rpm). These service intervals are monitored through the vehicle’s ECU with service messages displayed on the multifunction meter...... 15 hours! A whole year's riding in the UK??

The H2R is sold “as-is” with no warranties, express or implied. The purchaser accepts all responsibilities concerning cost of service, maintenance and repairs... 'VERY comforting'....... :-\

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

We're not talking unions or torie policy. Chill out.

Those that choose to ride bikes do so knowing the risks. ...those that don't usually just cant but won't say so. ;) it's a bit like mobile phones and touch screens. "Oh I don't need that rubbish" equates to, I'm scared/can't/won't/don't understand anything outside my box.

....but once they actally try it. And see another point of view.... ::)

Hmm. Not interested in those 2 wheeled contraptions, but it would make a nice engine for a kit car. :-*

The road going version has barely 200 BHP. Little old ladies could ride it? ::) :)

Would like to see it going head to head with this, It only has 2 gears though, (faster/slower)

But seriously, re planet gear, and the service interval. Presumably the set up is to achieve high enough rpm. But I'd rather see a belt drive, at least if it goes tits up it will just strip the belt. Rather than rap a chain around the crank.

Gay! No challenge in a car! :P

Why bollards up the power to weight by adding a car chassis ?

Ah, looks like chain is clutch side of the crank case, away from the crank chamber. Saw another animation that was miss leading.

Think I'd still prefer a belt. :-\
