I am chilled ;D

And freely admit that if i put a moped into gear I would promptly fall off and die :D hence a lack of interest in doing so...

Hmm. Not interested in those 2 wheeled contraptions, but it would make a nice engine for a kit car. :-*

Gay! No challenge in a car! :P

Why bollards up the power to weight by adding a car chassis ?
A carefully constructed Westfield won't weigh much more than the bike... Not sure that it would be inherently safer just because it had four wheels though ::)

Ah, like me and horses.. I didn't get three feet forward before I slid off the hairy beast.

Wouldn't mind a go on the bike, though. Should probably pass my CBT first though.. ;D

What it needs is some ballast to hold it down  ;)

Yes, and 4 wheels means it can go round corners... and, on the Gay issue, you don't need all that leather. ;)

The bike weighs 216kg, so I would imagine a carefully constructed Westfield would easily weigh twice as much - thus halving the power / weight ratio. ;)
As for bikes not being able to go around corners. Seriously ??
Granted a good car will ultimately corner faster than a good bike due to the amount of rubber in contact with the road, but any modern bike will corner well above the abilities and fear threasholdof all but the bravest people.
As for the leather. Its a necessary evil for those who don't have a death wish. :)

Maybe that's why these posts annoy me Al. Quite happy to post in such an expert manor on something you know sweet da about, but on the other hand everyone else MUST be so precisely exact in everything they say.

From that PoV, most certainly not chilled out.

If you fancy some training wheels and some lessons, just shout, but until then the bike itself will not automatically be at fault if YOU bin it!

That is .. pretty much exactly how I'd look and precisely why I've never done by CBT..

Only thing I can wrong with the bike is there is nowhere for granny to put shopping as she uses it for trips to the local shops and back. ::) :o :D

Seriously, looks like a good track tool. :y :y :y

Are they going to run a race series for it?

Agreed on all counts. Hence the smiley in my original post. ;)

You can get a bike engined car under 500kg, but not by much, and it'll be pretty basic (then again, so is a bike). You do have to add the rider/driver to both sides of the equation, though. Not far off 100kg in my case. :-[
