Bilstein shocks....
« on: 06 May 2015, 18:47:41 »

Where can I buy a pair of Bilstein rear shocks from, at a good price...?

Iv seen them on Ebay for around £80 but dunno if thats a good price or not really...

At the moment its sat on MV6 shocks but 1 is starting to weep a bit and I can tell its not working as it should so obviously they will need replaceing very soon....

Any help on where to buy them from except for Ebay please :)

Rubber pads that sit between the ends of the springs and the body/trailing arm... in reality would make about 6mm difference unless brand new, in which case be about 12mm until the springs compress them slightly over time/use...

I haven't removed any pads from mine....

When I changed the rear springs, there was some rubber pads which i left in as thought they are there for a purpose...

Iv actually got spring assistors fitted for when towing the caravan which work oppsing wonders TBH

What springs are they? If you need assisters on them for towing then surely they aren't really suitable  ???

Think Bg means adding pads. Which helps to a point, but the pegs that locate the springs and pads aren't long enough to take 30-50mm worth of pads. The springs will fall out before that camber setting is within range ;D
