Great link, thanks for posting, I enjoyed that..........

Particularly liked when showed old and new, side by side. Amazed at the chaos on the roads in the old films, motorised vehicles alongside horse drawn of all sorts and sizes, and people just running out between them, looks as busy as now, on some films.........

VE Day celebrations at horse guards was covered on TV, with some footage of bomb damaged areas shown next to current day. Quite moving. (Especially the readings of letters home to loved ones actually, but off topic)
