You could build one with pallets.  ;)  There are plenty of designs and step by step instructions about on the web. The one below is quite simple but you'll get the idea.  :y

not exactly pretty! I had thought about using the wood from pallets but with 2 year olds splinters from rough sawn pallet wood would not go down well, and sanding it down would take an age, cheapest way though  :)

There are plenty of designs available on the internet and you could line it with ply, tongue & groove or something similar.  Cheap and easy, just needs a bit of imagination!  :y

I suspect my eldest (nearly 3) would tape the carboard to my youngest 1 or similar!

I wanted to build my 2 little boys a small outdoor playhouse then when surfing Amazon I have come across ridiculous wooden mansions making our own home look small
I'm now thinking a bit bigger! plans started out at a door 2 windows 4 walls and a roof, now I'm thinking 2 stories with staircase! is that going too far! I draw the line at running water and electrics  :)

I know there are some wonderful ones that you can buy, but there is something about 'making' your kids something to play in, a bit of effort and all that, you can even get them involved helping to build it. A fab way of Dad and Daughter bonding, I built this for Miss Vamps, when she was 3............. :y :y
