Differences between versions of MID
« on: 10 May 2015, 21:12:52 »

They own an Omega 2.5 td 1996, are looking for a MID for mine, but I wanted to know some more information in order to identify the parts it does for me.
I have a diesel version can use a MID that comes from a donor vehicle that is gasoline?
The language of the information of MID can change it if I find a MID in another country?

There are differences in the looms, but Haynes wiring diagrams cover 2.0 8v/2.0 16v/2.5v6/3.0 v6/2.5 Td...

iirc they are interchangeable as long as the plugs match, either grey or yellow... Accuracy depends on factory wheel/tyre size and gearbox type, but they are reprogrammable with tech 2 as lon TB as you know the correct config codes for the car it's being fitted to :y

I'm really in possession of MID with CONNECTOR yellow. If I have understood well with Tech 2 and can make change of lingua.Per version of MID, there is a table to be consulted? The display of my MID is now compromised and is difficult to read.
