Local dealer has a plethora of pre registered Astras for £12800 ish, down from £18k+ about £330 pm over three years...

List price for a 1991 Astra (Mk2) 1.8 SXI was around £12000.

Her budget was £1800 and she was determined to get a C4.

It was on Gumtree and this was the description:

Very nice Low mileage car with 1.4 engine so great on fuel and cheap insurance only 67,000 miles from new,mot until feb 2016,c d player,power steering,electric windows,remote central locking,electric mirrors,service and mot history,excellent condition please see pictures,drives superb,bargain low mileage car,no text please thank you.


We got it for £1125.

Almost a full service history. Cambelt done at 50000.

I test drove it and it drove perfectly. It wouldn't be my choice but she loves it.

I've never had a problem with any car.........since I got rid of my omega. Never spent a penny on repairs. :P

Did you notice the steering wheel when you drove it? only out ring turns, everything else stays as it was, took me a little getting used to. For that kind of money you can't go wrong, pay that for an Omega and you will back in the garage in a week, just ask STEMO............... :D :D :y

£1125 for a 55 plate car with low mileage seems good to me. :-* :-* :-*

No....you pay big bucks every time you do a P/X

To turn a Daewoo into an Astra.......£2000. :D ;)
