Thanks

May I publicly thank Martin Imber for the fantastic service he gives refurbishing Facelift keyfobs. I sent one in Friday's post and it arrived back this morning !!! It is so much better than before that i have already packaged up my other key for similar treatment, it will be in the post this afternoon !!

We are being very "green" and going for the world record in reusing a single jiffy bag ......   :)

On a more serious note ... he is WAY too cheap IMHO ... He only charges £7.50..now the postage (recorded delivery) is close on £1.50, the switches must be about £1 each (£3).. so he's only getting £3 for his efforts... methinks this service is worth more.

Once again Martin.... THANK YOU   :y :y :y :y

I understand he does a special rate for OOF, and his public rate is more.  For which I thank him :y

I guess there is an upper limit to what can be charged, so setting a pricepoint is difficult  :-/

It's tad late as the cheque is sealed in the bag .. but if you are at Newent there'll be a few full tins of falling down water heading in your direction  :)

Ebay is £9 + £2 p&p would do public rate of £10 all in except Ebay want paying.

£7.50 I make a small amount otherwise not worth doing, it pays for the postage, electricity, switches, solder.

As Jaime says I do it as a service

If you charge too much people will keep using them until the case disintegrates, also the fact new ones are only around £30 or so
