Close call...nasty
« on: 18 May 2015, 22:54:39 »

Got back here tonight, said to swmbo 'I am going through the glade to the seasonals to see if our friends are down. Good job i did not, and decided to fit the new battery first......half hour later the site owner came to me and said the two people in the tent in the glade have just been found dead. Suicide...note on the tent. It would have been me that found them had I did what I intended to do :(

Not a good evening.

Iv'e never understood why anyone would feel that taking their own life is the only option....... such a shame.

I hope they have found their peace.

I totally Agree, I feel sorry for those they leave behind to pick up the pieces  :(

My investigations (unconfirmed) lead me to believe that they were a couple, him old, her quite young. They have been dead for a few days. They booked in here a week ago, I remember seeing them in their car. When a couple walked past our van I said to Chris about the age gap. That may not have been them, purely coincidental, of course. The police have them listed as missing for about three weeks.
Where they pitched their small tent, would not have raised any suspicions, unless walking close by and possibly seeing something untoward, like the note, etc.
As said earlier, its those left behind that have to pick up the pieces >:(

That's so sad. It's hard to imagine what their mental state must have been like to do that. :'(

Apart from half of the Dorset Fire, Police and Ambulance services, unmarked cars and transit vans and other small vans coming and going all day, including a large fire engine, there has been no sign of the press !!!!! Most unusual.......I shall have to watch South Today.
But....I shall probably be down the pub when thats on. :y
