I need to replace the front disks/pads on my 52 3.2, I'm getting braking vibration at 50-60mph so guess the disks are warped. Is Tradeclub best for replacement or are there any other better (cheaper) options?

Yes stick with VX for the front and any good well known makes for the back.

You have 2 VX options - Trade Club pack or genuine VX pads - the latter seem better, but much more expensive

I`ve got VX front discs and Pagid pads. Pads are IMO a lot better than VX trade ones

Check the inboard face on the outer edge for a rust band. Whatever you fit, paint the outside edge to keep the rust at bay for a while and they should then last down to the minimum thickness, rather the rust dictating the life of the disc.

Vx Tc disc pad set is best value afaik. But some members have had good results with Pagid discs (all German are a Pagid dealer)that come painted or at least treated, apparently.

Tc pads are very good value for money, but they are not the best quality. Gm oe pads are better, bite slightly more and don't squeal like the Tc can do as oe have proper riveted shims on all four pads, with a lot less dust than Tc ones. But they ain't cheap.

I would say stay away from pads with nothing but paint on the back, as the paint will give way to rust and give high spots that allow the pad to rock and create some serious squeal in some cases.

I'd guess numerous manufacturers use them. It's not really a rule of thumb though. Brembo also make stuff for several manufacturers, but that didn't stop a mate warping numerous Berembo discs on his e39.

I've got the OE pads on my MV6 and I think they're well worth the extra
