Front passenger electric window pondering...
« on: 05 June 2015, 11:55:27 »

Note: This is for a Prefacelift...

I would like to make use of the blank on the passenger's door (that on LHD cars would house the electric mirror controls) by fitting an electric window switch. As far as I can tell, a rear window control will do nicely. I'm thinking that if I rip apart a FL passenger's door, and take the wiring, I can splice this into the existing loom (ideally done in a way that doesn't spoil the wiring, in that reverting back to standard would be a relatively quick unplug, rather than breaking out the soldering iron and the heatshrink)

Thought, please gentlemen  :)
