Andrew, the car is worth what you are willing to pay. Yes, you can buy cheaper but if it's up together then sometimes it is worth paying top dollar.

Unfortunately some people on this forum are adamant that they are worth peanuts  :-X ::)

Just to add... I'd prefer to see 12 months MOT if it were me.

Looks tidy, if you like it take a chance & make an offer personally I would offer around £750 in the hope of getting it for around £795 . Take no notice of previous comments , would you let it go for £450 ? I know I wouldn't.

Looks tidy enough.

The key thing I would be looking for would be when was the cambelt last done. 80,000 (i.e. twice 40k interval ) or within last 4 years on age.

If it hasn't been done then bargain on spending £300 or more depending on who does it.

Non enthusiast owners that sell dont seem to bother about cam belt changes and rarely allow any bargaining in price in my experience . Looks decent enough from first glance though  :y

Personally, I would rather pay a bit more for an immaculate low mileage example (especially when you are only taking about £100's), than a shed that costs lots of time and money to get to the same position, but each to their own.

And its got the superior 3.0 engine , would have been tempted with this a few weeks back .. damn not looking any more  ::)
