Going third party for PPI claims is simply throwing money away ::)

All those telly ads are paid for with your cash. Always claim direct as it cuts out the middlemen :y

Well done Jason, best claim I had was for poor advice re a pension transfer, the FSCS awarded me £48,000 back in 2009, when they first contacted me I thought it was some kind of con & threw the letter in the bin !!A month or so later they contacted me again  & I completed the paperwork , it took about 8 months to receive payment but was a pleasant surprise.

I didn't realise until reading this tread it also applies to mortgage protection, I now need to find the paperwork for useless payment protection I was sold for this.
