Omega b, TC and rev counter not working
« on: 14 June 2015, 17:37:48 »

Hello, first of all sorry for my bad english. I have few problems that I havent fiqured what is wrong. :( TC and rev counter dont work and automatic gearbox dont work properly.

I have readed error codes with "My Naff Code Reader" and got these:

ABS/TC
U2105(4) Present
U2106(4) Present

Automatic gearbox
P1844 (5) Present
P1844 (8) Not present
P0730 (8) Not present

No error codes with engine.. Charging, battery and groundpoints are ok. I have changed crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, automatic gearbox controlmodule, dashboard (not sure what is it for english), automatic gearbox, gearbox oils..

Automatic gearbox works fine either but when u drive about 70-100km/h and accelerate hard it goes to automatic fail and not work anymore like it should.

Hope u understand what i writed..  8)

Car is Omega B 2.5V6 -00, AR25 automatic gearbox  :-\

Question to others, is this a failing abs Ecu?

Not had this issue myself, so no experience.

The 0730 in gearbox is probably the root cause - incorrect ratio.

Suspect a hydro-mechanical fault in the box.

Ok, thanks.. Just thinked could it be abs unit but obviously not.. Dont know what to do and ive asked help for opel club finland forum also but they dont know too or doesnt want to help noobie..  8)

Didnt remember to tell that only error code what appears only is that p1844 (5) present from autobox. When I first time checked and erased autobox codes there was all three different codes.

Solved auto gearbox problems by changing manual gearbox in to my car. No more automat omega to me... :D rev counter works now sometimes about two seconds and then go to red line and stays here.. :0
