Also cements the iPhone into general life.

I like contact less pay, if using a card. Saves a lot of agro with the machine failing to read the chip. But I wonder why it won't allow for touch payment and then entering the pin for more expensive items if required. ....or does it?

Is it true that merely walking past a terminal set it off?

....and debit your account.

With NFC you literally have to touch them together before and transfer takes place

Both Australia and New Zealand do contactless up to $100 (roughly £50) and if you use chip/swipe then often don't even need a PIN/Signature under about $50

That's right. I mean...we don't sleepwalk our way into financial crises.....do we. And stuff like the Internet.......nothing bad has ever happened there. Twitter and Facebook......invaluable. All in all, the human race has come on in leaps and bounds with this technological revolution.

Yeah.

Come on don't switch to humour as a get out, there's a lit of paranoia here, some justified, but really? We'll be on to Chem trails and aliens next.

It wasn't humour, I didn't understand the question. It was a question? It had a question mark after it.

As does this ?

Serious debate to be had though... I mean, do we all buy pattern foil hats or genuine, and where from? Especially given the undercurrents of TC allergies... :-\

And it was humour, as it had a laughy after it.

Forums, a good thing, on the Internet, another good thing, under the heading of technology (again. Good) and development. (If allowed is also good)

In short your moaning about the very media so avidly being used. If it's bad why use it? Therefore it's not bad, and doesn't deserve the scepticism.

Any further spelling required? From me of all people. ;D

Forums are a very small byproduct of the internet. As you say, a medium. Not exactly what I was moaning? about.

....it's often not the "thing" at fault, but the people using it. By that I mean, criminal types etc.
