2.6 starter replacement

hi guys...is it easy to replace a starter on a 2.6....on is it a b***h to get at

no panic...found the "how to" guide in the maintenance section...and yes its a bugger  :D

no panic...found the "how to" guide in the maintenance section...and yes its a bugger  :D
What you need is a 1.4 astra. Loads of room in there.  ;D

sorry guys....ive decided not to go down the 2.6 route....i now have a 2.2 veccy sxi......250 quid and runs like a dream... :y

You can keep your Tenas nicely warm in the engine bay...

Yes, tricky job, involves removing the RH engine mounting. Also you have to locate the upper bolt by feel. I found it helped to align the boles with a long allen key to get the bolts back in on reassembly.
