A lot of these muscle cars are going back to their heyday roots- I think they generally look fantastic: Mustang, Challenger & Camaro especially.  Making them RHD with better handling is what they must strive for... the Mustang I note is coming this year - cant wait

Rubbish re handling... The Camaro uses the VXR8 chassis, which for a large saloon, is pretty damn good.
Perhaps not BMW agility, but then it's clearly not a BMW ::) Which is nice :D

Saw one yesterday as it happens, presume last years though :-\

No right hand drive I believe? As with the cts v as well. We can have the car, but not with the steering wheel on the correct side. :(

I really like the cts v styling.

But in a way that I am certain would mean I would then be embarrassed to be seen in it if I bought one. If that makes any sense at all? It's too ott IMO.

Vxr8 however, no such problems there, and obviously is available in UK spec.

And I'm a general muscle car fan with a preference for Mustangs - always have been.  Given I don't want to hurl them around a race track, I'm generally Ok with 'adequate' handling of US cars, although I appreciate they are improving

I should imagine that most of the new Camaro's will be ordered with the V8 Hemi installed, instead of the 2.0 litre turbo....?

I do like the retro styling that most manufacturers have been going for since the Chrysler PT Cruiser was launched or even the Plymouth Prowler....

4 pot "muscle car"?

I agree mostly, but the PissTake Cruiser was a shed of mamouth proportions. <shudder> ::)

V8 Hemi? Chevrolet are going to fit Mopar engines? This seems unlikely ;D

Where does it mention anywhere in the above article that they are fitting MOPAR engines....?

4th picture down clearly shows a HEMI engine...?

MOPAR was essentially Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth.... not Chevy (even though they all had the same parent company with GM)

The Hemi spherical combustion chamber being a Mopar trademark, it won't be fitted to a Gm chassis ;D

Camaro/Cadillac/Chevrolet SS/Corvette all continue to use the LS series engines... :y

From the original link...

I note the rocker covers are hi-po orange, too.

[edit] Of course if you google there are lots of pictures all of different engines so I suspect there is some journalistic license going on there!
