Sad death of motorcycling doctor

Trauma doctor who was often first on the scene of racing accidents during road races like the North West 200. :'(

Very sad indeed. Far too young, and dedicated to helping others too. It often seems that it really is the good who die young.
Coincidentally, his hearse was an Omega.

Originator of the "black blue ones are faster" line in relation to Gsxr's "they wheely like *ook" he said, and he was right too. :y

Very sad. But the thing to remember with motor sport is, it exists as a sport to allow people to compete on a level they wouldn't otherwise be allowed to, or would do illegally anyway. It gives them, and everyone else a  better chance or survival under an organised event. While their loss is painful, even from such distance, their love and passion for what they did holds no bounds or restriction. To the point that they are quite happy to risk their own lives for its cause. They know the risks. Indeed, they do it because of the risks.
Sometimes you just have to admire the gob smacking commitment, and applaud. :y
