The engine bay was designed for straight 6s, in fact that's the very reason the V6 is a compact 'V', so it would fit :-)

As for a simple drop in, I'd image it's be find a Carlton subframe, or possibly the 6 cyl Omega BMW Diesel subframe would be needed to make one fit... I must stress I have no personal experience of this, someone will be along in a minute who has  :y

That said how did he get that engine to fit? He must have done some creative welding/otherwise. Just proves anything is possible   :)

Needs quite a bit of work but guessing it will make a fair bit , becoming very rare . How about dropping an omega v6 in it  :-\

All that battery needs is a bigger cable, bigger battery (just for the cranking power) and a battery box to make it safe...

The rust - aint that bad really... Iv seen a lot worse...

Look like a lot of work has gone into fabrication etc.. just to get the Jag engine to fit, but Id have stayed with the GSi lump as I reckon it would be just as powerful as the Jag engine (power to weight) so installing the Jag engine IMHO was a waste of time and money...

However, it is a good and valid talking point and bragging rights go to the installer :)

Long as the chassis not rotten all is reasonably easy to fix , , quite like the
rat look myself . Wonder what the spares situation is though with things like wheel bearings ect

Wheel bearings are same as the Omega front and rear as are the rear wishbones, discs, calipers, tie rods and driveshafts and front discs and cailpers  :y

Didn't know the rear wishbones were the same, I just assumed they'd be slightly different, by a few mm or something. Good news  :)

The subframe is different as is the diff casing but the springs and dampers are also a physical fit and I would imagine the spring rates on the rear wouldn`t be that much different to the Carlton
