Decision made!
« on: 12 July 2015, 17:12:01 »

Have just made the decision to retire at the end of the month, not sure wether I am making the right move, but there's got to be a cut off point at some time :'( But how I look at things, I've only got a few driving years left and now that the cars are up to snuff then it's time to get some miles on them before you lot will want to start robbing bits of this poor old codger who smells of wee :P

Think you could be right, especially over the winter months when there's not much to do either with the cars or outside around the house...I do suffer a bit with ''cabin fever '' so I'll have to have a plan B, just in case :y

Definitely mate.
I know a chap who's retired and he owns his own lorry (he's really in to them) and he does the same thing when the wife and kids piss him off cabin fever sets in  :y

I finished a couple of weeks ago............. :y :y

My intention was to get some jobs done over the summer months and then get some part time work to get me out and about. Looking around I saw some interesting opportunities and applied for several positions, my current difficulty is that I got them all, so could be even more busy, no stress though, that is the killer. Good Luck............. :y :y

Thanks guys, worked for 52 years so it's going to be a hard habit to break, think I'll survive though,no doubt SWMBO will have a bucket list for me to get through.....basically to keep my mind concentrated on other stuff and not looking for homeless Omegas to adopt  :-X :y
