If keeping the car, brand spankers are around £40 I think?

I popped brand spankers on the 2.2 many years ago, feel so much nicer to use  :)

I picked up a pattern one for £12 off the bay which worked fine

I pick them up form scrappy's whenever I see them. I'll try and get you one if I get in sometime soon. (though I'm sure someone one here will be able to sort you out with one sooner)

I think £10-15 is going rate, but as omegod says, about £12 for pattern new or the same price for second hand, but used, or finally £40ish for new GM. Your choice, OP, there's perhaps no right or wrong answer to this one.
