Lever was found and adjusted and all went well on MOT retest...however the broken spring  he said I needed and quoted me £128 to supply and fit 2 turned out to be b*****s as I bought a pair of KYB's and fitted them myself only to discover the ones I was taking off where perfect... Apologies all round and a refund of the money I spent on Springs.... Just goes to show I could be well out of pocket for something I didn't need.

So they were trying to make a few bob out of nothing , shame on them

Which is the beauty of finding a MOT station that just does MOTs and doesn't do repairs .........

Obviously I won't be using them again.. The MOT tester must only be about 25 ish too

Could always report them to VOSA... if more people did that, then perhaps this would happen less

There was another issue with this MOT station with a work mates car but far too long winded to put on here... Lets say it ended up with him needing a respray to rear bumper.

Vauxsull, I apologise for not replying to your PM's.  I've only just got online to read them.  Glad you got that sorted.  Simple things like those levers are a surprise to many an Omega owner.
