Lever was found and adjusted and all went well on MOT retest...however the broken spring  he said I needed and quoted me £128 to supply and fit 2 turned out to be b*****s as I bought a pair of KYB's and fitted them myself only to discover the ones I was taking off where perfect... Apologies all round and a refund of the money I spent on Springs.... Just goes to show I could be well out of pocket for something I didn't need.

So they were trying to make a few bob out of nothing , shame on them :(

Which is the beauty of finding a MOT station that just does MOTs and doesn't do repairs .........  ;)

Could always report them to VOSA... if more people did that, then perhaps this would happen less :-\

There was another issue with this MOT station with a work mates car but far too long winded to put on here... Lets say it ended up with him needing a respray to rear bumper.

Unfortunately, welcome to the world of the MOT being carried out at a garage that does repairs ::)

Vauxsull, I apologise for not replying to your PM's.  I've only just got online to read them.  Glad you got that sorted.  Simple things like those levers are a surprise to many an Omega owner.  :y

Jimbob saved my sanity on this one as he googled the info I needed.
