Obviously this doesn't apply to HID headlights as no such lever exists behind mine?

Lever was found and adjusted and all went well on MOT retest...however the broken spring  he said I needed and quoted me £128 to supply and fit 2 turned out to be b*****s as I bought a pair of KYB's and fitted them myself only to discover the ones I was taking off where perfect... Apologies all round and a refund of the money I spent on Springs.... Just goes to show I could be well out of pocket for something I didn't need.

Depo lights do have the lever, but it's accessed through the other opening and works slightly differently ;)

I've often presented my car for MOT with the headlights set to driving on the right ..... can't see a problem as long as they're both set the same.
