Rear Electric Window
« on: 05 August 2015, 13:14:31 »

Today noticed one of the rear windows is out of action, Both switches (driver/os/r door) Do Nothing. All other windows ok so it cannot be the single fuse.Puddle light comes on so feel sure all is plugged in.   Any Thoughts  :-\

After giving it some thought  ::) Power goes into drivers door switch Which Decides if rear doors are getting power through that slide switch..

So is it a case of volt meter out and get it on door Motor, If no power its driver door Switch..If power then fault is within the door  :-\

Worth a try, and if it does work, then simply swap the loom first and motor second :y

When fitting a new rear door thats been standing for a while Always Give the electrical socket a clean or it may have a bad connection after a while And stop working.   ::) ::) ::)
