My DTI looks like it will need front discs/pads for her mot soon.

I have 2 x Genuine front discs which have been in my garage for 2 years. They look quite rusty. I cleaned one up with some brake cleaner and a cloth, it's come up reasonably well but there appears to be some v minor, what looks like, surface pitting.

Ok to use, with new pads, or just bin?

Seems a shame, every little helps running four cars!!

I've done the same. Had some sitting in garage for few years, I just slapped them on. Italian tune up brake wise and all good. Still on car couple years later.

It will eat pads if you drive normally. Obviously, no impact on our resident slowcoach tunnie
