Is it the way you are preparing it? Do you for example not wash it.

It is very easy to cook it thoroughly but contaminate utensils and other things.

I think you would be surprised at how many people do not observe the correct hygiene with chicken

Washing chicken is a no-no.

I wonder if there is another vector you haven't conidered.  the packaging is often heavily infected with bacteria could this be where you might be inadvertently infecting yourself?

With crohn's I have to be very careful with packaged chicken but this is one of the concerns I have to deal with, especially when actually shopping for it in the first place.

Do you have any problems with chicken dishes you haven't cooked yourself. If so, they you might have a chicken allergy.

Yeah my mother washes her whole chicken , ive told her not to but wont listen as stuck in their ways  ::) They are never sick though  ??? Just wondering if im becoming allergic to chicken in general . I did hear they had culled a load of chicken for the flu virus thing in China a few weeks back .

Edit : You beat me to it Rods , should have said that me and my partner have the same meal but she's never bad afterwards .

We were out at the weekend and were late getting back so called into the Kentucky , i had a chicken sandwich .. i had bad gut the next day  :(

No more chicken for me , will inform the docs .

I dare say the teenage boy who prepared your chicken had 'self-abused' three times that day already and hadn't washed his hands once.

That will be the cause of your malaise, Mr Emd. :)

May I assure you all that my comments were not intended to put Mr Emd off his chicken. :) ::) ::)

However, with a bunch of horny teenage boys  it may be wise to check the consistency and temperature of the mayo.

Enjoy your food. :)
