They don't list them on their website, only just started stocking them recently. But he said they were slightly better than Meyle quality wise, gave the OOF discount and next day delivery 

Meyle would have been around 3 weeks, none in the country

Shackeng - report back on the idler, as recently lemforder ones haven't lasted too well (unless there are a load of fakes around, which isn't beyond the realms of possibility)

But Jaime, it will outlast me, so I doubt if my feedback will be of much use.
Incidentally, Jason tells me he has some new springs which look promising, and hopes to post info on OOF.

Sadly, they have been known to fail within months.  I certainly hope you have more than a few months

Sadly, they have been known to fail within months.  I certainly hope you have more than a few months

2 years on mine so far and apart from surface rust it's working as it should, Was from AGP also btw.

I bought a Lemforder Idler (admittedly from ECP).

It came in a Lemforder Box, but had no markings on the actual arm.  Seemed to be very stiff on install..... Lasted all of 6 months, and it was completely shot.  Probably should have been changed within 4 months tbh.

I don't trust ECP, seen similar many times.......

Many would argue against, but I've got two spare idlers taken from scrap cars (and will keep getting them). Both genuine GM, and I know how many miles they have done. In theory, both have over 30k miles left in them, and they were freebies with other car bits bought at the time.

A good genuine second hand part is going to be better than a pattern
