Will K-seal damage my engine or is it safe to use on a 2000 3.0 V6?

thanks,

Do not ever put that stuff anywhere near an engine. >:(

It will block the small pipework in the heater matrix and cause it to blow as the flow will be restricted. :(

The stuff "may" temporary cure a small leak in the main radiator or similar ,but the problems it will cause in later use are just not worth it.

Take my advise and steer well clear of any of those "Magical Snake Oil Fixes" especially if you intend keeping the car.

What are the problems you are hoping to cure with it anyway.

Don't do it, you'll end up with coppery mess all through the cooling system and it probably wont fix your problem. Why are you considering it?

(I tried it as a last resort on a car I didn't have the inclination to fix properly, then regretted it...)

I've got water leaking from somewhere in the centre of the engine, it's collecting underneath the sump. I need to top up the reservoir every week to 10 days. Any ideas where it might be coming from?

Thermostat housing, coolant bridge, oil cooler plate are three common places on top of the engine, and the HBV if it's pouring straight to the floor...

Not one of which is fixed with K seal ;)

Strip things down to investigate properly and then it can be repaired.

Adding a "Quick Fix" remedy will not cure it ,trust me ;)
