Boat progress
« on: 13 July 2008, 20:35:13 »

Just managed to bag myself 2 x 120Ah batteries for the boat at a bargain - 100 quid deliverd for them both!

Nearly finished the topsides and painting.  Soon will be turning the boat to finish the hull, paint it fit the rub rails, ancils and put to the water..... that is once I wire up the motor... result!  :y :y

Sounds like a great project!  Anything to do with boats, ships and water is so rewarding!  You are obviously having fun, and all the best!

As Debs and Skuntie request, I would love to see pictures as well! :y

Didn't I see a film once where skis where attached to the underside of a boat, and with sails raised it became a sand boat travelling over the desert! ;D ;).......Around the World in 80 Days (the 1960s version) comes to mind.  Great idea though, and just like the land boats on wheels used on beaches! :y :y
