Speed/abs sensor
« on: 24 September 2015, 12:15:15 »

Hi All

I was driving on the A55 to North Wales in my 2.5v6 and the Traction Control and ABS warning lights came on, and the speedo sank to zero.  On the return trip everything worked fine.

The diagnostic check locally has shown that the rear offside sensor is faulty.  It is the one that fits in the diff, not the hub.
Has anyone got one by any chance ?
The only available one at the moment is a genuine GM part which has to come from Germany.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Robbie j, swap the 2 rear sensors over (electrically - the connectors are near each other behind diff), see if fault moves with sensor or not.  I suspect it will prove the sensor is OK :(
