Clutch question
« on: 26 September 2015, 21:51:04 »

Went to fit clutch to tmf today, and cover plate is wrong,i was wondering if it would be worth using the old cover plate,as it looks fine and nothing broken, issue with old clutch was it being heavy, and i need to get tmf back on the road asap.

I wouldn't use the old I'm afraid. In my car the thin metal strips of spring steel that hold the driven plate failed. So getting through two friction plates on one backing plate would be a bit risky perhaps.
