Send it back and buy an alternative one... what is the diameter of the fitting? Suggested is 19mm...

Both ATE and Febi offer reasonably priced alternatives... http://www.allgermanparts.co.uk/default/car-parts/clutch-parts/clutch-control/master-cylinder-61.html :y

Prefer manual. Plus the auto that was in it was terrible and was a 2.2 box. Yea al cylinder getting sent back tomorrow. Master fitted to the car no probs, connected to pedal perfect. But pipe from box wouldn't have it

Make a new pipe from the MC down to the next join.

5 minutes work and a couple of quids worth of material.

Quicker than removing the master cylinder too.

its a push fitting to the master cylinder. that pipe came with the original box so must have been connected the right master at some point but scrapped it with the car as the clutch master was leaking

Fabric covered pipe is the gravity feed from the brake fluid reservoir TO the master cylinder :y

Connection FROM master cylinder to gearbox is a push fitting held in place by a spring clip :y
