Ideal for running nuts off....250lb/ft....skin and rice pudding comes to mind  ;D...you would more than likely have to break the nut with a breaker bar and pole before that gun would be of any use....I.m.o,,,yep ok as d.i.y.  and as the saying goes you get what you pay for...save your money and get a decent one that will do the job as it is intended for. :y

Can be had from Amazon for same price.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wolf-Cordless-Reversible-Sockets-Battery/dp/B004CZ3WV8

Say 270Nm - can't see it doing that based on reports of other impact drivers.

Webbys one was £180 with no battery....

Cheap impact wrenches are very disappointing. Their real use is on things like large suspension bolts that have already been loosened with a breaker bar, but are still hard to turn with a ratchet..

£50 will buy you a 600mm long handled ratchet that will be much more useful, and far better value. Sealey's AK6695 for example.

I have the sealy, one and it works fine, I also have a 2ft breaker bar,
The impact wrench has performed as it should,.

If I was in a work-shop I would have my old faithful CP air gun in use, but am not so for home use the sealey, works fine ::)

My Halfords long breaker bar was only about £25 IIRC. Well worth it.

imho the most soul destroying thing is to buy an impact wrench on the cheap and it wont undo your lug nuts. been there done that. im not loaded (in fact I bought it with some money my granny left me when she passed as I wanted something to keep). but as I now do this for a living I needed to invest in a good one either way.

that Makita is one of my best tools. expensive. but awesome  :y

I remember the Clarke one I brought...£60  and promised 450nm  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D wouldn't undo an omega bolt done up to 110nm  :-X
