In agony
« on: 22 June 2008, 19:12:16 »

I was cleaning the caravan and standing on a step ladder scrubbing the roof, then a huge gust of wind came along and blew me off, step ladder fell out of way and I landed on my back after a 4 foot fall.

My coxics (sp) is in agony but my back is a bit better.

Paracetamal Ibuprofen cold compresses are working.

NSH direct say if I get any limb knumbness call an ambulance.

And my best bucket got its handle broken! >:(

Sorry to hear that mate -- a bruised coccyx can be really painful for quite a while -- careful how you sit down !!!!

BTW  -- eat foods with plenty of fibre --- straining will hurt !!!!!!!!! :o

The crap on the roof was amazing, about 10 minutes after the fall I went to 3 steps and rinsed the roof, (arm full stretch up)

Another tip -- don't sit down for long periods at a time, alternate the weight from buttock to buttock and also it sometimes helps to lean forwards a little to shift your weight forward :y

I think TB is clumsy too - I have kept moving, sitting on peas, managed to do the burgers but had to get everything passed to me.

About an hour afterwards I didn't have the strength to carry my own weight!!!!

Generally, I'm not clumsy. I do stupid things frequently (knowing the risks), but not clumsy.  Now, The TheBoy, she is the world's clumsiest person.

I'll make no comments about how a gallon of petrol and a match would have been a better result ;D

Hope you don't ache too much in the morning, which is when it will catch up with you.

And remember my motto - A bit of pain never hurt anyone
