Pfl MV6 specification
« on: 09 November 2015, 21:56:46 »

Just laying up my PFL MV6 for winter and got me thinking about the specification it has and wonder what other MV6 cars out there with similar specs as think quite a full list for that model.

It's registered 30/12/1999 - V plate - auto transmission as most were I think - was this an extra?

It has:

Cruise, Bose sound, CCR700 (telephone head unit), sat nav, leather.

Chap I got it from couple of years ago (only previous owner) thought the full spec was to run out the model and move the last few on quickly. This got to me thinking as to what is dealer fitted (if any) and what is assembly fitted at point of manufacture.

Auto was standard on the 3.0, with manual being NCO, opposite for rest of range except auto was £1000 extra.

Cant say without my brochures to hand, but sounds a healthy spec sheet, yes, leather was an extra, I think the stereo is, too, and mayyybe the satnav. The MV6 was technically a UK-only model, to experiment with the concept of a sportier Omega, as with the Carlton GSi. (What we call Elites in Opel-land are called the MV6 - that's where Luton got the badge from  :y) It worked, sold in decent enough numbers to bring it back on the facelift as a proper model in its own right, not just a 'special edition'/experiment.  :)

As above, manual no-cost option.  :)

MV6's were never fitted with Bose in the UK.  ;)

PFL MV6 was CDX spec, minus cruise, plus HIDs.  Wheels, seats and styling differences.

Bose - well whether it was dealer fitted? but it has the twin parcel shelve speakers and the amp in the boot.

Must have been an option at the very end - dunno

My pfl mv6 had proper gearbox, cruise, black recaro leather, and bose, carbon trim. Was 97, before mfl.

BOSE was never an option on MV6...   ...but easily retrofitted.

PM me reg, I'll check what it left factory with :)

If it was pre-MFL, it wasn't a retail MV6.  "Special Use" vehicles were often called MV6 on logbook though.

If it was MFL (which if it left the factory with those seats, it was), then cruise was a factory option (about £400), but also very easily retrofitted.
