I once witnessed a Range Rover backing into a car getting out of a space, he just drove off so I left the reg No and my phone No on the cars windscreen.

A few days later I get a call from plod saying they have traced the Range Rover and are going to prosecute and thanked me for doing what I had done, then a few days later I get a call from the guy whose car it was also thanking me, turns out he was the chemist that worked in the Asda pharmacy.

I always park in disabled spaces.... mind you I have permission to park there as my wife is disabled :)

What pish's me off is when I see someone park in a disabled spot that clearly isnt supposed to coz its convenient for the cashpoint... I even had a word with the Securitas driver t'other week for parking the armoured car in 2 disabled spaces just coz he was delivering cash to Asda's, he thought he had the right to park there...

Hmm ...still cannot see any damage. Spoke to van driver who says to definitely get it checked out. As it happens it will be in bodyshop a week tomorrow for some warranty work ( dealer found some corrosion on a door (I had not seen it) VW agreed to pay. Apparently where aluminium meets steel. Car is 6 years old. They need car for 4 days.

I'm not sure that I'd have the front to park across two spaces, Andy: but then, I do park in parent/child spaces where possible (but NEVER in a disabled bay) because of course they are wider. I do have an excuse when my baby boy is with me, even though he is 38!
Er, why does it always seem to be women, especially in supermarket car parks? They pay more attention to getting their "little accidents" out of their cars than looking where the doors are bashing into.....

Ron.

It really grips my s*1t when I see people parking in parent and child bays without children. I only use them when I have my little girl (2 next month) because I understand how convenient they are for parents. I frequently challenge people I see parking in them without kids >:( >:(

If I don't have little one I park, like Andy, as far from the entrance as possible. But still find someone next to me when I get back! Car parks are the worst... Still have a dented wing from the last incident when someone hit me and drove off :'(

Sorry, LD, but I feel no shame. Why is it more convenient for a woman shopping, with no work and all the time in the world, than it is for me with poor knee and hip joints (but not bad enough to qualify for a blue badge)?
I would be more likely to agree with your standpoint if these women were careful, but they don't care at all about other cars, only their brats.

If you did it in my local asda, and had no child seat in the back, you'd be £80 lighter. They enforce it too, along with disabled parking spaces.
I saw one, ermm, lady parked in there with no kids...apparently a repeat offender. The security guard had blocked her in and 'disappeared'. The air was blue  ;D

Nowadays many supermarkets have small but visible notification in form of a warning sign, put somewhere on the fence no one can see, that basically says taking the burden off of their chest ''oh, we are sorry for the damage but it's not our fault''
