Encouraging mobile use on a forecourt ::)

Doesn't work for LPG though ;)

AIUI noone has ever been blown to smithereens by a mobile phone on a forecourt. Nylon clothes, pumps with sprug handles, and getting in and out while its running however... Kaboom!

You forgot one.. "trying to kill a spider with a lighter".  No, really: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKrmvM-3hzw

Shell have been pushing fill and go for 3 or 4 months this way. But not valid for LPG though, with no sensible reason given to me by staff.

Additionally, they also have had an attended service for the past year or more this way, but only between certain hours, which they are rolling out nationally.  Again, the old git at Towcester never seems keen on the LPG stuff.

So for petrol/diesel, you can fill up around Brakkers and MK without getting out of the car.

So you have a head start if it goes kaboom. That extra two seconds of dismounting would make all the difference. Duh.

Powered by Paypal? Does that mean someone has to pay Paypal a fee per transaction?

Obvious plus point for this system going by the cartoon is that as you fill up it also dispenses a knock out gas into vehicle to shut noisy kids up :D ;D

Whatever payment method is used, the retailer has to pay a fee, no matter who the retailer is.
