I just don't believe it.
« on: 07 December 2015, 09:29:39 »

What the oopsing hell is going on in this country.

Went to the post office on the way to work to buy some stamps for crimbo cards to post to Australia. I like to buy the Christmas specials because my nephews out there collect stamps. But, the main post office in Yeovil has sold out of all the Christmas stamps. How the hell can a post office sell out of stamps with over two weeks to go. >:( >:(

I walked in a shop the other day and asked for some Polish Sausages, they guy asked me if I was polish, I replied no I'm not, what's that got to do with anything, if I come in and ask for Edam Cheese would you ask me if I was Dutch?, No, he replied, so if I asked for some Parma Ham, would you ask me if I was Italian, again, No, he replied, so why you asking me if I'm Polish then?, because this is a Hardware Store he replied.

I stopped off at Oxford Services for a KFC and they'd run out of chicken. They were still open but the menu was seriously limited.  ::)  You'd expect KFC to have chicken like you'd expect the Post Office to have stamps.  :y

Had that at Tesco once... I did point out that there was a whole shop full of them and got a round of applause from the queue of people waiting for their fry ups!

Probably just as well. Last time I had a bargain bucket at Oxford Services, I nearly didn't make it home. I haven't clenched so hard since Eygpt.

No need to clench, you obviously had a bucket handy.  :)
