Rear Courtsey Lights

The upper ones, by the grab handles.

Can brighter bulbs be fitted? I'm finding the standard fit a bit dim, with Little MissT's new car seat it is a bit difficult to see the green marker for correct position. Plus be better to see a bit more.

Any recommendations?

Yep, or you can fit some white LED bulbs in there.

Strap a headtorch and one of those illuminated running coats onto the sprog. Problem solved.  :y

LED good, bigger filament bulb dodgy, more heat may melt or distort the cover.

Don't know for sure, but I thought they were the small festoon type bulbs.... I'm sure someone with an Omega (still) could confirm.  ;)

They are festoon bulbs, as are the puddle lamps in the doors and the number plate lamps. You need 2different sizes, 36 and 42mm if I remember correctly, but I don't remember which is which. The front courtesy lamp/map light uses the bulb type in the EBay listing, and fitting them actually makes it fit for purpose. The ones I bought even dim with the locking delay.

I'd need to check to be 100% sure, But I'm sure I replaced the rear reading lights and door lights with the same size festoon, With some minor adjustments bending the metal bracket a little. For some reason the front doors tend to flicker now and again briefly but only on the front not sure why but doesn't bother me ads a spooky look  ;D ... (Not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure the boot requires a bigger size festoon)..

But on a serious note I'd definitely recommend these LINK for the front reading lights, You can actually see what your doing. Not the bulbs that come on as you open the door the ones with the button each side, Tried the ones that come on as you open the door but for some reason there's a constant light till the delay cut out if you change them probably because of the low amount of power they require not being 100% compatible with the Omega.

Led use less amps and generate less heat. :)

Get your led's from Halfords with trade about £5.00 pair for festoons.
