Have you checked there is a feed to the wiper motor?

Feel free to diagnose by chucking parts at it.... I prefer a more systematic approach.

Don't through parts at it, as it could be several things, all as equally liable to fail.  Simply check for the correct voltages step by step :)

I have the scuttle off and the plug out of the motor.. just waiting for neighbour to come home with his multimeter..
Out of interest is there any part of the wiring loom for the wipers connected to the washer system as it seems coincidental that this fault occured after i topped up screen wash for first time in ages.. chaffed wire there? Got wet when topped up water?. I am as you can see p*****g in the wind here..

Do the wipers work with the washers or are you just getting nothing at all from the wipers?

M11 is the motor, K10 the yellow relay.

Brown wire the earth so sticking a feed on the white or yellow should test the motor me thinks.

neighbour says theres power in the cable so assumed its the motor its self.... do motors just go kaput just like that or normally give some indication before hand?.. to answer previous question the wipers dont work at all but the washer jets do

even thou you have power its worth earthing the motor directly as looking at the diagram the relay works by earthing the motor.

Also looking at the diagram is a bit like looking at a plate of spaghetti.

Evening guys... could someone please find me the "how to" link on replacing the front wiper motor? Just the motor is being changed not the arms/links ...
Regards..
Keith....
