Hi all and a happy new year,to everyone.Can someone tell me why the,check headlight/tail light.Keeps coming up when i switch the lights on,they are all working as they should.Suggestions much appreciated.Dean.

No mate,it just started happening over the last 2 to3 weeks.

It's going to be one of those 'Pull each bulb in turn and re-fit them' I'm afraid.

Check each bulb for corrosion and each bulb holder too.  If you find any, a light sanding with a fine grade sandpaper, and job done.

Ok Mate will do thanks,i have noticed drivers side side light is dimmer than pass side.Dean.

Fresh bulbs might do it then... As you check for corrosion, look for any signs of condensation inside the lenses as water ingress might be the primary problem...

My MID was blinking up for a while, every time I got out of the car, walked round and checked every bulb, they were all working. Eventually traced to a very slightly dickey bulb holder. (caused by a non-offset pin bulb being stuffed in at some point) was fine most of the time, then go out, but a jolt or shock could make it blink back into life/extinguish. 

With a pair of needlenosed pliers the contacts in the bulb holders can be drifted in by half a mil to grip the bulb tighter.

Hi all,just a quick update.Its pissing down hear so cant check all bulbs,or spray anything.Tail lights don't flicker when indicating,but i noticed the hazard light button does flicker when indicating.Is that normal Dean.
