Explorer Henry Worsley died after trekking 913 unsupported miles across Antarctica, but sadly was only 30 miles from the end when he was rescued. 

A very brave man who raised over £100,000 for the Endeavour Fund.    RIP.

A very brave man, whose hero was Sir Ernest, and whose ancestor Frank Worsley navigated their 22' boat 800 miles in atrocious conditions across arguably the most dangerous waters in the world, the Southern Ocean, to make landfall on South Georgia. A true hero with heroic antecedents.
