I use Vx Tradeclub Opticlean, not sure what it costs. Minus 10C may not be low enough on a very cold night. One Friday night coming home from Oxfordshire temperature fell to -16C and the screenwash froze, making driving tricky.
I now use neat Opticlean in the middle of winter. The label says 'ethanol solution' and 'flammable liqid'. If neat ethanol it would freeze at -78C, if a dilute solution it would not be flammable. Hmmm.

The green stuff (-20c) is about £2.50 on trade. Stinks though, but the rate Mrs TB gets through it, that's what the cars get ;D

I think the GM stuff does a better job, but with her driving in the dark, and the fact she washes the screen every 2 seconds, those headlights drink the stuff, so not worth the extra this time of year. IMHO.

I use Asda concentrated, £3 for five litres or, sometimes, two for £4. It's never frozen and it cleans my windscreen.  ;D

Opticlean concentrate from VX is blue. much better than anything else I've used, never buy premixed stuff as I seem to have a tap that dispenses water in the kitchen!  ;D

They do both... Understandably the ready to use is much cheaper, as it's mainly water :-X ::)

I realise this is about to get me flamed, but hey ho.

I use Waitrose Essential floor cleaner (its the supermarket next to my work, so I buy lunch there), diluted about 10-1, cost me £1.05p/l. Has been fine so far this winter and the coldest I've seen so far is -4 in the morning when I've been going to work (6am ish).

It doesnt foam, cleans as well as any screenwash I've ever bought and was the first thing thats shifted the oppsing awful smell of Halfords Green Apple screenwash from my car - that stuff smells like gon off cider  :(
