Think there's a difference between saloon and estate too :-\

If not, I've got a couple but can't be certain they work... Normally bulletproof though.

Agreed  ... but being a lazy sod as an aid to diagnosis it's the first port of call !!

System works ..pump runs for 8 seconds every startup .. so it slowly rises over time but never lets "down" as if it doesn't actually "know" what height it is .. so its either a knackered pump unit with a failed release valve, or a dodgy sensor .. and being as the sensor is the easiest part to change .......

Fair enough... If you still need one, let me know. You can have one ;)

I'm just about to disconnect and remove it from mine... It doesn't seem to pump up enough randomly and won't lift the back end up when the arm is pulled and moved. Given up trying to diagnose... It's had several pumps and sensors as well as new shocks. All now getting moved onto the other one which will be a workhorse. This one will get Irmscher shocks and I'll look into either fitting the Irmscher springs I have already (with thicker pads) in the future or spring assisters for when towing... Depends how it behaves with the Irmy shocks. Always found the SL damping to be a bit poor anyway ::)

Hopefully a sensor from EBA will solve the problem .. if not I might be after the pump from you ! You'll know if you see a "wanted" for a pump !  :)

Unfortunately (for you) the pump is going back to the other car... I might have another good one but I don't think so :-\

Very kindly supplied by "Essex Big Al", whose help is much appreciated ... now all I need is some time to fit it, and for him to empty his in-box so I can thank him ......  :)
