They're uncomfortable due to an obscure EU regulation that states all pillows in Europe should conform and they chose the austere German model as the standard.  :y

Try sleeping on the bathroom floor for a couple of nights, your pillow will seem very comfortable afterwards.

Wrong! You can sleep in bathrooms measuring more than 12'x12', but you must put a single bed in there, which must measure no less than 2'6"x 6', providing there's no 'r' in the month, in which all sleeping in bathrooms is verboten.
Do your research, Tig.  ::)

I expect only Lord Opti has a bathroom larger than 12' x 12' and we all know he sleeps there quite often!  ;D

I can recomend my memory foam pillow i have its just right for me.
At work we sell latex ones but they seem a bit hard to me.

Best thing is to pop in to a local bed shop that sells them to try some out
