Of course.. You forgot the additional emissions from your Leaf when some wag hacks it and leaves the heater on and the windows open all night. ::)

But.. if the problem is cows, then I'm going to try to solve it. Everyone need to do their bit. I'm making myself available for cow disposal duties. Medium rare with a little bearnaise, please. :P
You're just going to increase your methane output.

Hmm.Not so far from LPG then?

I've got a cunning plan. :D
Is that what the thickos in suits management call a win-win situation?

That sounds like a plan so cunning, you could pin a tail on it and call it a fox ;D

Filtration system might need some work though :D

Have you thought about the CO2 emitted by the BBQ, though medium rare is much better than well done ;D

On a more serious note what about the major consumable of the internal combustion engine that is not needed by electrics, oil. Regular oil changes throughout the life of the car and the production costs and CO2 produced by the process must contribute to global warming, so there is a saving.

Dont forget there is more than just CO2.  Nitrogen dioxide and other harmful gases are also produced by motor vehicles and directly next to people breathing it in.  I would hazard a guess that although produced by power stations as well that it would be easier to control and capture some of these gases in a small number of large chimneys than a few million small exhaust pipes.

As a cyclist I notice the gases a lot.  I dread to think what I am sucking in deep in to my lungs sometimes.  Maybe I would be better being a smoker ::)

Yes totally agree CO2 is not the only issue, its a very complex area which is not easy to untangle and there are many competing political as well as invested interests at stack. Did I just mention the steak thing again?
