Syrian refugee in a camp in Greece

It rained constantly all night. "Last night was the worst night of my life". Well, Syria can't have been that bad then.  ::)

You'd think bullets would be worse than rain.. oh, maybe most of them have never seen a bullet in their life, let alone been near the pointy end of one.

I see the EU have 'agreed' that the migrants will be sent back to Turkey. They have got to get them there !!!!!! I await with baited breath ;) Can't see that happening anytime soon, seeing as they are rioting to get further north.

Isn't the "agreement"for something along the lines of-for every refugee crossing the Aegean from Turkey to Greece that is returned to Turkey that Europe will take a refugee from the camps? That's the way I heard it.Europe as a whole has been way too slow on this[no this is not a brexit rant]and I still say it's been tackled from the wrong end.If such migration is to be halted you have either to make the place they're going to a lot less attractive a proposition or make the place they're coming from a more attractive proposition to stay in,not wait until they get here and then try and stem the tide.

The way I understood it was that every migrant will be returned from Greece to Turkey and for every Syrian that is returned, one Syrian (living in the camps) will be allowed into Europe.
The points being: If you're not from Syria, don't bother, and: if you make it into Turkey from Syria, stay in the camps, don't try to cross the Aegean yourself .
Now all we have to do is get the thousands on Lesbos to go back. I suspect they might not want to.  ;D

When the annual British holiday makers turn up,all beer'ed up and chanting "ere we go", they will soon leave. :D
